About the position
Qualicare Homecare is looking for compassionate, caring, and reliable individuals to join our family as RPNs. Qualicare location offers home care services that focus on providing the best quality of life for our clients and peace of mind for their families.
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care
- Provides accurate, detailed, and timely documentation
- Conducts ongoing assessments
- Prepares, administers and appropriately documents actions taken specific to medications
- Performs all skills, treatments, and procedures competently in accordance with the provincial scope of practice
- Follows principles of infection control and Universal Precautions
Requirements
- Current certificate of competence and good standing
- Certified in CPR
- Strong clinical skills
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Excellent customer service skills
